‘I’m Good (Blue)’ features as the fourth track David Guetta and Bebe Rexha have worked on together following that of ‘Family’, ‘Get Together’ and ‘Hey Mama’ and samples the 1999 hit by Eiffel 65, ‘Blue (Da Ba Dee)’, which topped global charts around the world on its official release, selling millions of copies. Although starting work producing the track ‘I’m Good (Blue)‘ over 5 years ago, the recent viral success on the social media app TikTok has led the track with Bebe Rexha to see the light of day, releasing today on Warner Music. Finally, a place where he belongs.David Guetta and Bebe Rexha link up for ‘I’m Good (Blue)’, released 5 years after Guetta started producing the track.ĭavid Guetta has had an unstoppable year in 2022, collaborating with A-list superstars the likes of The Black Eyed Peas and Shakira on ‘Don’t You Worry’ as well as achieving a globe-concurring hit with ‘Crazy What Love Can Do’, there seems no sign of stopping for the French producer. So he comes back because he feels like he just found his home. He knows what it’s like, and he’s glad that there are more people like him. Thats when the man who see’s in blue agrees, because he feels what the aliens feel. The blue aliens put up a sign, begging them to come back. When Murray (or whatever his name was) rescued him he flies him back to earth. They’re excited that there’s a song about it and they’re like: “Finally, someone else who actually gets it.” And because the man see’s his vision in blue, when he wakes up in the concert full of blue aliens he gets all confused like: “Wait what just happened? Did my vision get worse?” Still, he knows that the show must go on. In the music video it’s that exact same person, and when the aliens came to capture him, it’s because they know what it’s like, he knows what it’s like. When it comes to the song alone it’s exactly what it is, just someone who see’s everyone in these different shades of blue, he see’s people in blue, he see’s his house in blue, he see’s the world in blue, he see’s himself as blue.
